Have you thought of cutting off the end tank welding it, and redrilling and welding in on the back of the intercooler. It would allow for a more centered placement. backdoor style.

The IC is still in the opening with the bumper on, so I am gonna leave it for now... Still so much left to do and less then 1 mos.

Got everything ready to go yesterday , coolant filled , oil , ect ...checked for leaks...

Turn the key..

and the ------ fuel filter has a split in it at the seam.

Sunday night , no way to get one... Called it a day.

It took what felt like forever to make the Downpipe for the car. it's 2.5" SS. But the Nissan turbo has an oval outlet to accomodate the internal waste gate. Some plasma work , welding ..ect and it's good.

Hopefully will start it up this friday night.

Got a Socketed P08 ECU ... need a basemap for the motor with 450's and the Nissan T3.

What a PITA.

should be similar to a garret 42/48 basemap somewhat. Try one of Xenocrons bin files in his directory on his site

Ordered a chip from Xenocron late wed night , was shipped out this AM...

Lost use of my tow vehicle..

so Im gonna drive it down, figure it' a good way to break it in.

nothing like 1200 miles in a gutted civic with a sparco seat.
