Re: Is this a good turbo for me.
I have a rhb5 it is like brand new. But I cant find a stinking T3 to Rhb5 Adapter plate so I can use it. it has a weird almost triangle shape to it with one really long side. I have tried and tried to make one but no luck and no online stores sell them

I have that exact turbo. It's mated to an HF manifold via an adapter plate that came with the turbo. The adapter plate is pretty ghetto looking, it looks homemade. You might want to pm bmcracing to see if they have something pre-made, or if they could just make you one.

Thats a VERY desirable junkyard turbo you have there.
If I had it, Id run it. Spool up will be about 1000 later than a .48 housing. The good news is that you can just unbolt the housing and put a .48 on it if yo so desired.
IMHO, Id run a minimum of 8-10psi on a D. So much more worth it, and very reliable. (assuming your fuel/timing is in line)
If you decide to sell it, Im calling first dibs w/ a fair price :P

Re: Is this a good turbo for me.
I am going to give a adapter plate one more shot. I have been trying so hard to make one and with no luck. What I have been doing is making the exact plates then welding a peice of pipe in the middle. But everytime I weld the plate gets hot and bends. So I got some nice 1/4 inch steel and I am going to try to make one out of that. That shouldnt bend. We will see. Might not be pritty but it might work. Thanks alot.
