Default Installing Injectors w/out management???

Can you install the DSM 450cc injectors on a Y8 without management? I'm putting a turbo on using a V-AFC-II, but I wanted to get the injectors in. Will it hurt without the turbo and tuning?

That makes a whole lot of sense since the injectors plug directly into the stock injector harness. Plus doesn't the resistors have something to do with controlling the injectors?

resistors will lower the voltage/current to the injector so it works with your current ECU, it only makes it comptable to the ecu.
if there are no FM, with those injectors, it will spray A LOT of fuel into the cylinder since the ecu is still operation the injectors at the same speed.. soak the plugs and it won`t start. of even if you got it started, it shouldn`t idle at all.

yeah u can use the 450's with a VAFC.

u set your fuel values like -40% -30% etc.. its called "the hack"

also resistors have to be soldered in, or a resistor box put in/

Correct. I think what Donald was trying to say is that the resistors lower the impedance (ohm reading) not the voltage; to prevent your injectors from burning out your ecu. But even with the resistors the ecu is still going to think you have 240 cc injectors, and will pulse the 450cc injectors at the same speed, thereby flowing almost twice as much fuel. You'll foul your plugs, and even if the car runs, your cat will go bye bye and you will get 5 mpg.

Thanks Will! Finally something that makes sense in answering my question. I will wait for my vafc before installing the injectors. Thanks
