i just got a giant garrett turbo from a friend and cant figure out what size it is or anything about it i have some pics ill post so you can take i look at it i need to know what sizes and type it is all i know is it came off of a ford f350 turbo diesel

Sorry i forgot to post the turbo inlet pic here it is i took the exhoust housing off and it has like little flappers in a perfect cicle that open and close also i think turbos with this are called vnt i may be wrong i dont know 2 much about it but anyways let me know what you think

couldnt tell ya what the size is but VNT turbos are VERY expensive

can i use this turbo for a homemade setup its got a clip on it also on a sensor i guess

yeah it depends on the engine, the 6.0l deisel turbos use a VNT turbo but the 7.3L models didnt. both engines were avalible in some years so you cant go by the year. if theres wires going to the center section though it is variable geometry. either way its a straight t4, in the 1ar range.

yea it has the little flanges or whatever and theres a plater around them and when you turn it they open larger and when you close it back the come together also there is a clip i guess from to a sensor on the center which i guess wires once ran to can it stil be used without this clip pluged in what can i sell something like this for its to big for me to use on a single so i dont need it but dont wanna sell it for 20 dollars if its worth more thanx for all the info so far guys
