Gettin SOOO CLose to install time, Just one question.....
This has been on my mind since I started this project. I am currently ready to get the downpipe made. My main question is where do I split the oil line? All I ever hear is its somewhere behind the block towards the firewall. I just changed my oil yesterday and didnt see anything that looked like I could split it from.
I have a d16z6.
Please flood me with info on how/ where to tap the oil line. I need pics, cheap drawings, whatever can clear this up for me. THANX
Other things i think i need:
Vortech 12:1 fmu
Missing Link Check Valve
I chose that route instead of using hondata or chippin my ecu...
If you would like to try to explain it to me, feel free to email me or IM me anytime, im allways on:

2. I think its funny how you give all your contact info like somebody's gonna take the time out of their day to track you down and hold your hand through tapping into your oil system.
Here's how I did mine...
I ran a braided line from the stock oil pressure sensor location on the back of the block to a T on my firewall...
I connected the stock oil pressure sensor to one side of the T, my Autometer oil pressure sensor to the other side, and then ran a line to my turbo from the other port...
There are many different ways to do it, this is just how I did mine. If you don't have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge, I would do it the way shown in the pictures above...

Well, since people did IM me, i dont see what the problem is....
Someone please tell me how i would do the hondata route?
From what i saw, i just hook up a pc and use the free software to do my tuning....Prollem is, i got no idea what to change....I saw the program....it looks way complex.
I already learned something.... When i changed the oil on my 4dr, i noticed a wire that had a "funnle" connecter that wasnt hooked to anything. Now i know where it goes. Also it answers a another question i had on my mind for years about a "Jiffy Lube" incedent.
I already got the splitters, and the hoses. So i dont wanna buy a kit that i already have. I was just unsure of the location of where to tap from. Thanks to all those that helped. I ordered the o2 sensor bungs and as soon as they come in, I will be mounting my turbo. Once I get clarified on hondata, I will actually run the boost. Seems i'll be spending around $200 on FMU and Check valve. How much is the "TOTAL" hondata routue? Do i need an eprom burner?
