garrett t60-1 vs garret t3/t4 57 trim ?

i currently have the t3/t4 57 trim 60/63 ar. thinking about the t60-1. is the t60-1 to laggy or will i b ok. which ar would be better the 63 or the 82. i want to hit any where from 3 to 350 but also be able to do any where from 4 to 500 when i build this block. i know the t3/t4 will proly get these numbers also but which of the 2 turbos would be better. and yes i did a search but that ---- aint working right for some reason

well if you look at it like this i belive the 60-1 is good to 6-650 for hp but i will be laggy compaired to the 60.63 but to the top is where it would come to life. Ive drivin in the same car with both turbo's the 57 trim did spool quicker buy mabey 200rpm but when it was going it couldnt compare to the 60-1

Its more dependant on the turbine side of the turbo. The 60-1 compressor with a .63 hotside and a stage 1 wheel will only take slightly longer to spool. Im assuming your not going with a t4 turbine side since that would require a different flange but a t4 or larger t3 (.82 a/r) hot side will effect spool time some. I would say go with the 60-1 in a .63 t3 with maybe a stage 3 wheel.

Thats a great turbo capable of some serious power. If your used to the .63 housing on your current turbo and arent planning on going too far over 500whp I think the .63 housing should be sufficient with that stage 3 wheel.
