Garrett T3/T4 with .60 Comp. A/R and .80 Turbine A/R **Good Size?**

Havent been around in a bit guys, thats because I made my mind to build a high comp motor for nitrous. But I said ---- it, Im going to sell my 11.5:1 high comp pistons (Arias) and get some low comp and go BIG BOOST

The turbo I want to buy is in the title, still waiting on an exact part number on the turbo so I can lern a little more. But I wanna know if its a great size or not.

Im not looking for a track ----- (because I dont go to any) but more of a highway slut. I know the turbo is a little large, but I think my build D + 50 shot would be a lethal combo

This is what I have done so far
D16a6 Head-
Milled .040
PnP
3 angle valve job
Delta 272 Cam
Dual Titanium valve springs
Ferrerea retainers
1mm oversized valves
Aem adjustable cam gear

ALso have a Skunk2 i/m, bored out t/b, 3" exhaust and most importantly, a need for ------- speed

How much would you guys also pay for this turbo?

ps-looking for a pre built A6 block to save me some trouble

I would get a smaller turbine housing

if you wanna spool that badboy...keep the high compression or get a smaller turbine housing.
I wouldn't go to low on compression...I wouldn't go below 9:1

that turbine housing might be okay if it's a ball bearing turbo. But it it's not... good luck. :-\ Also, ball bearing turbos are like 2x as expensive.

I can grab ---- turbo for $300 shipped brand ------- new though

Also spooling wouldnt be a problem with a built motor like mine would it?

Id bet my compresison to be around 9.5:1 with my headwork and new pistons

Dont forget about the nitrous.

Cmon $300 to make my car a highway jigger

sounds like the remnants of a real t3/t4 turbo..

someone took theleft over t3 compressor and t4 turbine and mated them together. you want the exact opposite.. t3 turbine for spool and t4 compressor for flow

I dont think I have ever seen that... ???

But I have seen a turbo that WOT is describing, there are lots of large exhaust housings for the t3 turbine side. Turbohf has a .60/.84 on his turbo ls/vtec, and its a nice turbo. I say go for it, especially if you have big hp #'s in mind. It probably would be a bit smarter to get a smaller exhaust housing like a .63 or even a .48, but I personally like a bit of lag on my turbo setups.
