Garrett T3 60-1 (T04S) .48 A/R
Hey Guys,
I tried to search on this forum but nothing came up. Perhaps the search function is not working too well. Anyway, I would like to see if anyone in here with some dyno graphs of your Honda motor with the Garrett T3 60-1 T04S with .48 A/R would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to use two on my 4.7 Liter. I am looking for great lower end with rwhp range at around 450-500 rwhp each turbo. My motor can handle mega boost so its not an issue at all. The turbos below are just for mock up. They are dead Nissan turbos. https://lextreme.com/SC470TT/IMG_0455.JPG https://lextreme.com/SC470TT/IMG_0456.JPG https://lextreme.com/SC470TT/IMG_0448.JPG |

um idk what the 1.6 or 1.8 dynos will tell you about your 4.7 L. you need to do it your self and post up for us to see
ps. i dont have a dyno for that sry |
Re: Garrett T3 60-1 (T04S) .48 A/R
ok what 4.7l are you using that can handle mega boost, i would jusst run one massive ballbearing turbo, gt42 or something of that size.

500 WHP per turbo?
Yes, it has to be the 60-1 and turbine wise, 0.48 a/r is good but I would use T4 wheels. other than that, it could be a pair of GT 3582R ballbearing. or... for a faster spool up, i can make an interresting hybrid: GT3082R (turbine side of the gt30R, compressor side of the gt35R) |

Re: Garrett T3 60-1 (T04S) .48 A/R
I definitly think the t3/t4s 60-1 is the right choice for you, but i also think you should go with a .63 a/r on the turbine rather than .48 a/r because a .63 turbine will spool much faster on your motor than on a little 1.8 or 2.0 motor, you have 2.35 liters of displacment to spool each turbo, which will be more than enough to hit full boost quick with a .63 a/r, i just dont think the .48 a/r turbine will do you justice in the top end....oh and let blaast build you that set of turbos, they will be high quality reliable units, 2 of them for the price of one ball bearing unit :y

Blaast,
Thank you for your offer. I already have one turbo and working on the second one. Here is my lower end short block: Block: Tundra 2UZFE 4.7 Iron block Crank: 1uzfe crank Main: 4 bolt main from 1uzfe VVTi conversion Rods: Eagle ESP 3D H Beam with L19 ARP bolts Pistons: Custom Ross forged 8.5:1 Compression Pins: Heavy duty Ross pins Rings: Total Seal heavy duty custom rings Bolts/Studs: ARP 11 mm main bolts (4 per main) Head Studs: 7/16" ARP studs Here are some pictures of my 4.7 Iron block https://lextreme.com/SC470TT/Copy%20...reme%20001.jpg https://lextreme.com/SC470TT/Copy%20...reme%20003.jpg https://lextreme.com/SC470TT/Copy%20...reme%20011.jpg I am not looking for redline for full boost. This will be most likely street and strip application |

Your turbos look to hang a bit low for a decent angled return. It may be the picture though.
