Default garrett T3 .42/.48 capable of 300whp???

I want to know if this turbo will make 300whp on my d16z6 turbo project?

I disagree. The a/r of the compressor does not have as much affect as you might think it flow. You've got to consider that this is still a 50 trim turbo. While not massive, that is decent. If I can dig up the video and get it hosted I'll show you a 4 door with a 1.5l non vtec and this turbo running an 11.9.......and I'm at 4500 ft.!!!! This was done at 25 psi of boost. (way beyond the efficiency range of this turbo)

Your should actually be looking at whether or not you'd actually want to use this turbo to make 300 hp. The biggest drawback is the amount of heat it will create in making 300 hp will leave little room for error in tuning (read: massive detonation).

So...will it make 300 hp? Yeah. Should it be your first choice to make 300 hp? Nope...look to go a bit bigger than that.

why not just change out the hot and cold sides for somthing bigger if its a good center section

mine ran out of gas at 4,800rpm at 5psi on a 3.0, it felt like my car was actually slower with the turbo on.
