Default Fuel System

Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to the world of boost and I'm currently rigging up a homemade T-3 kit on my D16Y8. Can anyone give me suggestions for good cheap fuel system parts that will keep my engine stoich? I hate to be the annoying newbie, but I would appreciate the help.

BTW: Great site! It has been a huge help. Kudos to the webmaster!

Their are a few things you can do... The most common is a Rising Rate regulator, FMU. These work good to a point. The basically raise the fuel pressure under boost conditons. Differnt Discs inside the FMU i.e 8:1/12:1 dictate how much is giving per psi. For stock injectors they work good for 6-7psi.

The hot item that everyone is doing right now is the vafc/afc/SMC controller 450cc hack. Their lots of people doing this. Basically installed the DSM 450cc injectors and use one of these controllers to slow down the pulse for the injectors. The signal from these controllers change the voltage to the map sensor signal input to the ecu. It works very well. We are using a similar setup on our D16z6 hatch with a Boxer Vtec controller. We run 10psi on our stock Z6 with this setup, I took all the pics on the install, including the install of the inline resistors. I will do a write up ASAP!

Dropshop has a write up on his AFC hack

Hondata S200/AEM EMS systems are also availible and probably the "BEST" solution.. but not everyone has 1200 bucks as pocket change..

good luck

I'm running a t-25 on a d16y8 as well with a 255lph fuel pump and a vortech fmu as my fuel management. Jeff said it's good for around 6-7psi but if you go any high your should get 450cc injectors. When I install mine in 2 weeks I'll tell you how it runs.
