Yes you stock pump should be fine with the 450cc. With the hack, fuel pressure is never really above the stock rate. Thats one aspect of why the hack actually works.

How high would you raise the fuel pressure if you use a fuel pressure regulator on 450 injector? The other question would be how high would you raise the fuel pressure if you use a fuel pressure regulator on stock injectors? This is for a turbo CRX Si.

Check out this thread on honda-tech : http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=137901

Has alot of info about the hack, and the actually guy who thought of it.

The question about how high your fuel pressure should with the FPR should be more like how low should you set it with the FPR. With the stock injectors you will need a 12:1 disc. So say you have a fuel pressure around 40 stock. So if you have 6lbs of boost, thats 12 x 6 = 72 additional psi to the fuel system already. Now add the 40 of the stock system so you have 40 + 72 = 112 psi from the fuel system. I will tell you that your stock pump in no way will hold that type of fuel pressure hench the need for a line. You could get away with what i use to do and get a 255lph HIGH PRESSURE pump, not the regular walbro and turn the static fuel pressure down with your fuel pressure regulator to like 35psi, on my LS thats basicaly the lowest I could get it with the stupid B&M unit. Atleast then you could get rid of the inline fuel pump. With that setup you could next ditch the check valves and FMU for 450cc injectors or whatever your heart desires
