friend just gave me 500 $ to boost his ek JY setup FTMFW
its got the y8 in it i think
anyways, i went over the parts iin my head and heres what ive to come to and what i need and if anyone has any thoughts or advice cuz ive never boosted a D
so i bought this hf manifold lol https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...?topic=93816.0 85.00 $
i have 230 cc injectors those aren't very big i guess i need bigger ones although he is only boosting 6 psi *free. if not ~ 45$
front mount intercooler = bought 10$
need a po6 or pm6 ecu? ~ 50$
chip and kit: 15$
need a turbo (hit me up if u got anything) ~ 100
looking for a volvo BOV or DSM BOV ~ 20
im welding all pipes. ~ 50
i wont need a boost control if im using a .42/.48 trim correct
thats a total of 375 dollars. add in 25 bux for misc parts and thats 400$
then oil ines, oil PSI and BOOST gauge ~70 $
thats it right? i still have a 30 $ left over so i will get a z6 intake manifold.
how does that look to you guys?

umm bcause the y8 (its either that or y7) has the intake facing upwards

just start drilling holes in his camgear and flywheel to lighten the rotating assembly. extra 15hp. and then stick a couple jdm roadflares in there, 20hp and he can use them when his ---- breaks all to pieces on the road.

wow your going to turbo it for 500 and make nothing off it ... what a steal ... charge him a grand spend 700 make it nice and easy and make 300 bucks if he dont like it tell him to get fucked... last car i turboed the kid brought everything over ... everything .. and i charged him 700 for labor but he offered to pay that if it was done right and everything work ( becouse he installed the turbo upside down ) needless to say his ching chan g meow kit is still runnin good and he is a happy customer
