Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
There was an update on this page..
CHECK IT OUT!!! http://www.ghettodyne.com
Look at the screen shot and the features for v2.0!!!
HOLY CRIPES!!!! This is going to be AWESOME!
I've already got my RS232 for EcuControl, and the 28 pin socket and 11 EEPROMs (Stupid place made me make a $35 minimum order). Soo.. All I need to do now is buck up and buy the EEPROM programmer.
The place that makes Hondata's programmer is actually based out of a city that's VERY close to me. Lawrence KS!! I'm in Kansas City. I called and asked them about thier relationship with Hondata, and they told me everything I need to burn the ROMs. He's a nice guy. No store front though, so I can't just pop into thier shop and talk to them..
Damned Internet companies.. : :P

Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
As soon as Dave Blundell finally sends my ECU, I'm going to be writing a Logger program for the Macintosh...
since the only laptop I have with a working battery is a Powerbook ;-D
So if you're a mac geek, it'll be cool.

Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
What is required to have GhettoDyne? It seems as though most of the site is down or being worked on. If I could get GhettoDyne in my 90 Si, I would save a thousand bucks from buying Zdyne. I would already have Zdyne (silver), but they don't SELL THE SILVER ANYMORE! That made me upset.

Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
Download the program.. Everything is in the README file.
Basically:
- 90 - 91 PM6
- The program (Free from the website)
- 28 pin socket EEPROM socket (Got mine at www.digikey.com for $6.50, part number: A347-ND)
- Some EEPROMs (Which I got from American Semiconductor Right here.. http://store.yahoo.com/americanmicro...c256-25dc.html for $3.29 each.. though they have a minimum $35 order.. i ordered 11 )
- And an EEPROM programmer (which I ordered from http://www.xtronics.com/memory/EPROM.htm for $150 Note: This is the EXACT same programmer Hondata uses. So, if you have a buddy with a Stage 4 Hondata kit, he has this and can burn ROMs for you. )
Optional:
- RS232 connection for use with EcuControl Datalogging software (www.ecucontrol.com) (from here http://www.compsys1.com/workbench/On...3_adapter.html for $23 shipped)
Hope that helps you out..

Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
Hey
I just picked up a ECU from a 88 CRX at the yunkyard.
It's from a Euro 88' CRX.
It's a PM7, but it's the same as the Aerodeck Accord ECU that is shown at :
http://pgmfi.crx-forum.org/resources...ification.html
on the side it says : 37820-PM7-B020
And it looks exactly the same as the Accord's and it has no CN2 but a CN3.
Hey Mike can this one be used for ghettodyne?

Re:Free ECU Modification Programs!
That looks amazing! I would be the first in line to mod my obd1 computer when it can happen. I find it odd that nobody has hacked the box and done this yet. The chevy guys have been into computer mods for a long time now and it is the same sort of setup. I was going to do it in my 91 camaro but I sold it.
It is going to be a sweet setup and it even looks like they took into account the 450cc injector upgrade.
