Found: turbo sizing calculator!
So I found this site last night, that has what I consider to be a pretty handy,
easy to use sizing calculator. I've never run up on anything like this before, you may have, but this is new to me.
Ok, So you have to join the site first, which is no biggie, but then to use the so-called "math" features of the site, there's a "subscription" fee ($5.50 for three months). So I take the chance and I find I really like the features it's got. You just plug in some of your basic info like cid, desired boost operating ranges, operating temps for your neighborhood, etc. Then it projects your 2 ranges (low boost-street trim, high boost-race trim) right on top of the turbo map plot of your choice! Yeah that's right, you just drop down any two different turbo maps from a huge list* so it will show two maps at a time side by side for comparison. I was on the damn thing till 4 in the morning just doing 2 cars! The turbo maps in the library are mostly garretts and dsms, but there's even a place built right on the calculator, to send in your maps that are not on the list! I just sent a few KKK maps last nite, be interested to see when/if they get added. It's been a pretty helpful tool for this next build I'm planning, check it out let me know what you think:
