Projekteg, thank you. I call them, and they also have 8:1 compression piston and rings for $400.00. This is standard size piston for D16Z6.

ummmmm, ok, maybe not a d15. a z6 will handle it for a while with good tuning.

---- that, I ran 14psi on a stock D15 daily. 8) I would say about 99% of every take off was an all out drag race to the next stop so it's not like it was an easy 14psi. ;)

I like how they limit the amount to 15psi. Is that 15psi from an IHI or 15psi from a SC61? ???

Re:Forged rods and pistons

To all turbo car owners:

What's your opinion on running stock D16Z6 rods with forged pistons? I am just looking at all options. I can get Eagle H-Beam for $330.00, and Crower I-Beam for about $600.00+

Also, I did a compression test last weekend and the results are as follows: Cylinder #1...60
#2...190
#3...195
#4...190
The engine has about 105K miles.

Any and all suggestions/opinions are welcome.

Thank you,
StanB

Re:Forged rods and pistons

don't bother putting forged pistons on stock d series rods, go ahead and do it right if you're going to. h beams will be more than enough for stock sleeves, i promise. you can get the kits on ebay with h beams, pistons, and rings, for like 650 for d series. i would do that.
