FMU's
I just recently heard about these things, the concept seems pretty neat.
I am aware that they are no replacement for a fuel map though.
Running pretty conservative boost pressures on my tercel, which has 155cc injectors (say 10 psi max on a T25), are these things reliable enough and will they provide enough fuel to not ---- ---- up?
I would like to hear some user feedback

no one makes a tuning program for a tercel so unless you want him to run a megasquirt fmu is his best option. remember it is just a tercel not a bmw

my bad... got ahead of myself. what you could do if you are looking to do it on the cheap side (still not very cheap) is get a fmu like apexi sells and have it tuned by a professional. i had an apexi neo in my prelude before i knew any better it did okay for what i had but was definitely not a megasquirt or anything like that. could go that route and retard your timing by cam gears/msd setup but if you go any of these routes your talking a lil money. but hey it beats spending big bucks fixing your blown engine.
