id like to think so, because the car will be faster... but people will argue that the increased load of the heavy flywheel will help you build boost faster... these are the same people that will tell you that your dx trannies are better for turbo than say... an si trans gear ratios "because you stay in boost longer" ... its bs. If it makes you go faster N/A, the general concept will help you go faster when boosted too.

A flywheel is a mass that keeps your engine from speeding up and slowing down. This is a bad thing if your engine is accelerating and a good thing if your engine is slowing down (bogging your engine at a light and stalling). When your at idle, your not boosted so a lightened flywheel on a boosted car is like a lightened flywheel on a NA car. Drivability is your only consideration. Can youu stand having to rev it when finding a parking space.
A lightened flywheel will build boost faster. Your engine is at a higher RPM so it will be injesting more air->more exhaust->more boost

my a6 has a lightened flywheel, daily driver, I'ts not that bad. you just have to keep the revs around 2k til its in first gear. but she revs like a sportbike.

a lightened fly wheel would def. help you build boost faster...but i wouldnt go with anything lighter than 11 lbs for the flywheel...lower than that it's really touchy on the street...you jerk all over the place
