Default First Runs, Some problems

Well the car finally got back on the road today after being a month and a half behind schedule. I have some problems:

1: Small that I can easily fix. COde 1, Oxygen Sensor. I pig rich all of the time so I just need to take the time tune.

2: I had a half rad from a 94 Civic Coupe hoping it would work, but after mild driving for 20min I hit 210deg. Ouch. So I tried to make my crossmember so that if I had this problem I could just throw my old rad bak in but nope. I need like 1/2" more to go down to clear the hood.

So my question is, Is there any rad that you guys know of that is shorter than a civic rad that will work, or a half rad that will be good to run. I can't really find DOHC DelSol rad easily around here so that sorta of a no go. I've heard of Neon non a/c or something like that?

Any Help?

Okay after researching on HT i found that the rad should be sufficient, many guys use them so my other thought is my fan. I'm using a pusher fan from a 90 or so Ford Probe that I was a bit sceptical on. I'm gonna order a 10-12" SLim fan from CarQuest tomorrow. Hopefully it will be in by late afternoon so I can drive my baby to school for the week.

Might want to try a dual core one. I know Leed on here switched from a single row to a dual, and has not had any problems with the dual core.

Why dont you just hook your fan up to a switch, so when you know youre gonna do hard driving you can flip the switch and keep the fan on.

Fan is on with the ignition all the time. That way it remain on with the turbo timer, and at anypoint the vehicle is running.

I would like to step up to a dual core. I eventually will but this one was free and seeing as I'm in canada I don't want to wait another 2-4 week to get this beast on the road.

WEll then, question about a dual core.

Did 99-00 B16 Equiped (US Si'd, CAN SiR) coupes come with dual core aluminum rads. There is a local yard listing one for a decent price. So I'm just wondering if the are the same as B16 DelSols?

Ya, that's nice. I wasn't in the mood to drive to London (30min) to pick up the dual core from the wrecker there from the 99sir. It was 75.00CAN, I mght as well get a better fan (already on order, 12" 1350CFM) and run it till the summer. I really think it was the fan becuase if EG guys can make it by on this rad and ef guys on Honda-Tech have no problems, I even read of some tegs using a 1" Copper core and being fine. But I will want to upgrade to something like that weir before the summer heat comes.

Plus they have pickup right? I have a freind at school who lives in Ottawa. No shipping!

Only problem is I went to there site and they only show eclispe rads.

I'm sure they still have them. I'm just gonna run the new rad fan and Some Red Line Water Wetter to drop the temps a little.
