It IS a ssac t3/t4 .50/.63 57trim its the same ching chong meow t3/t4 turbo you see all over ebay...hasnt been rebuilt, just your run of the mill ssac. it was made on 28-29psi...yes he is using a stock y8 tranny, and no he didnt do 132 or w/e in 3rd gear lol, he does all his dyno pulls in 4th, he tunes it himself, he is one of the tuners for speedfactory in wa. his setup is very simple, y8 with eagles and vitaras, log mani with ssac turbo, zex cam, skunk2 im, h22 tb, 28psi. its a cookie cutter 400hp d-series. that runs 10's lol SSAC turbo? That is 100% BS. It may have been from ebay, but the standard run of the mill 57 trim turbo could never flow that much, PERIOD. He got something else entirely. |

do i need to get him on here and prove it to you? seriously. i have talked to him NUMEROUS times about his setup. ITS A ------- SSAC 57 TRIM. ---- there are some serious haters on here. yes he runs a restrictor, no its not rebuilt or balanced, its just a run of the mill ssac 57 trim. its not an "ebay" turbo, its a straight up ssac turbo. (what i mean is its not one of the "other" ebay turbos, he bought it from ssac) he emphesizes all the time that his setup is a strictly budget setup because he is building a fully built ls/vtec and in teh mean time he slapped this together from used parts just to have some fun with, and its MORE than exceeded his initial expectations.
yes i was running standard bore vitaras....and he does to. he actually runs the biggest piston to wall clearnce of any of the setups ive seen, .008 |

I think it will be more then anought in my crx but thats what i say about 8 pounds...lol Boost is like crack it only takes a little to get you hooked for life. |

.008 makes me feel much better about my .005, I'm excited to see these numbers and times I will be happy with mid 11's.

Whatever he is running, it is probably a real 57 trim T4 wheel. No way the little tiny BS 57 trim is gonna flow enough. |
