finished the turbo beater! Z6 engine swap and turboed!!(***track update***)
lets get to the pics, cuz i know thats why your here
the beast
me right after i dropped the bitch on the ground, wtf you need a hoist for? i call it "pull a part style" cuz they dont have hoist there either. just undid the front and rear mounts, along with shift linkage, wires, etc, the removed the bottom bolts on driver and passenger side mounts... then lowered the car as far as the jack would go (so sitting on the jack) then grabbed the air gun (barrowed) and undid the last bolt on the drivers side, engine fell and hit radius arm then did the tranny side and it fell to the ground completely
then jack it up as high as you can
then side her out
FOR SALE '88 D15B2 ~170K miles, good compression, good tranny, etc
now aint that so much sexier? '94 D16Z6, '91 DX tranny & flywheel, ACT XTSS clutch, HMT.com enigne mounts, B18A throttle body...
k, this was gay... the bottom axle came out off the drivers side of the car. anything look wrong to you? well looked even worse in the car, was too small for the hub!!! and aboue half an inch too short. im pretty sure its for a late 80's Accord... luckly i still have my CRX axles around from when i did the B18 swap...
back to the swap. how did i get the motor in the air without a hoist? and without any help? long story... basicly you need a couple jacks and some wood handy, and its pretty much revese of taking it out...
check that ---- out
O2 bung for my PLX Wideband controler, i will use the stock one on top of the manifold for the ECU and this one when tuning...and of course use the old broken *** O2 as a plug...
some charge pipe action
all finished, yeah...got to love Seattle! started to ------ rain about the time i finished up...
btw 99% of this was competed by me motor swap, turbo kit, welding, wiring (MPFI swap), etc
so how does it run? how fast is it? etc? well i dont know car was sitting for like 2weeks plus before the swap, so the ------ battery went dead! jumped it off with the Optima from the CRX and it was loud as ---- (its past 10pm) and ------ rich as hell cuz im running whatever was in the ECU that was in my garage so it should be a turbo B18 tune. tomarrow morning i will go do some tuning hopefully before work...
fell free to ask whatever question you have...and if you are running a Z6 on TE PLEASE email me the tune so i have something to start with

Lookin good man. Is it just me, or is doing junkyard setups on a regular ongoing basis (in an apartment parking lot no less) the true sign of an HMT junky
Ill send you Jays ZC tune minus an appropriate amount of fuel. You using a small turbo or your spare 60/63?
