I still disagree with your last statement.

You do that, and it will always trouble the ---- out of you until you finally find the problem.

Try this.

Go over the complete basics.

Check everything, all connections, vacuum lines, etc.

Maybe, you could try swapping in a stock ECU?

Pull the plugs. How do they look? Did you re-gap them? If so, did it help at .35?

Well, i think i may have found the issue, taking the advice and starting with the basics, i started troublshooting it as if it wasn't boosted. First thing i did was take off the cap and have a look, here's what i found.

There is corrosion on the pins in the dist cap, and a weird almost salt like substance built up in the bottom. I went to the parts place to grab a new cap/rotor but i got the wrong one, i'll have to swap it out for the right one but i think this might be it, i guess this kinda ---- happens when a car sits for almost 4 years.

Agreed, that may be the culprit, corrosion isn't good, but if you see a crack that will definitely tell you that it's no good.

It happens man, but I'm glad you are still hanging with it. :)

Have you changed the fuel filter?

Well, i changed the ------- cap and rotor, and no difference whatsoever. No i haven't changed the fuel filter, i guess that's the next step.

I'd love to be able to datalog and see what the ---- is going on here, but as per my thread in Engine management, i cannot for the life of me obtain any usefull info from Freelog other than TPS=-11 and o2=10

I would like the guy said, get a stock ecu and plug it up with stock injectors to see if it fires and drive without boost to see if it works. If its the same ---- with the stock ecu than its probably timing. I don't know about TurboEdit but if that usually happens to me on Crome its usually the fuel multipliers. Like they say every motor is different...what worked for another guy might not work with your engine..just fiddle around with the tps enrich and offset multipliers if TurboEdit has it.

Ok, well i just got off the phone with my buddy who originally owned the old motor, the engine is a B18b, however i'm running obd 0 dist and intake manifold etc. He said he thought the b18b timed up differently than the b18a, so if i'm using PR4 maps from a b18a, then the timing is obviously going to be off. Does anyone have a hanes book for a b18a, that can gear me up with timing marks and instructions?
