I'd make sure that vacuum line to the B.O.V isn't pinched like that at all. Just run a little longer line.

How's that chow ming manifold holding up? Did you brace it?

What are your plugs looking like? Gapped at? Kind?

Plugs are NGK ZFR5F-11 and are gapped at .044".
I've already fixed the vac line to the BOV, the manifold is a hunk of ----, however i got one of the later ones that came braced, but i did end up rewelding where teh collector meets the flange.

I'm almost to the point where i'm gonna haul the turbo off this heap, part it out and be done with it. This is getting really frustrating.

I wouldn't give up on this ----. You're almost there.

Trying lowering your gap on the plugs. I put mine down to a .35. It may help.

You may just need a tune.

Would a fucked turbo cause this? It seems ok, smokes a little, but it spins freely and doesn't have a ton of shaft play.

The Vac line to the BOV has already been fixed, and the plugs are brand new, i'll try regapping them tomm.

Try pressurizing your charge piping to see if you have any major boost leaks.

Did that, found a small leak, the turbo leaks a little oil into the intake side, so it's easy to spot a leak when there is oil on the charge pipe.

That's my next step i think, however the motor was pulled from a running car, and nothing has been touched other than swapping the dizzy, and it's lined up on centre. I'm gonna try cap/rotor and new wires as the old ones are tired. If that doesn't solve my problem i think it's time for a Stock N/A b16a
