BTW dynojet numbers are 9 times out of 10 read higher than mustang or dynapacks. If your making low #'s on a dyno jet either your not making any power or the dyno is calibrated wrong.

I admit the guy's post/info seems a bit fishy, but who's to say its not just a leaky turbo setup, or just a quick & dirty tune on pump gas vs a good tune on high octane?
Still, you guys really are showing your lacking knowledge of the ordinary internal combustion engine. Engines on 93 octane aren't limited by the burnspeed of gas hitting the piston too soon. Its limited by detonation caused from heat (created by high cyl pressure and excessive infrared heat expelled during combustion). If the fuel burns cooler, creates a cooler IAT charge, and has much higher octane, you can run much higher cylinder pressures earlier, and when you basicly extend & increase the force exerted on the piston, you can make quite a bit more power.

Yes, meth has a higher EFFECTIVE octane......but thats not how it's measured.
BTW numbers above about 106 octane are reference to 150 octane leaded gas.
Go see the other graphs, litterally looks like the whole graph plot was moved up 30 points across the whole board.
Also it being a Dynojet, which are easy to make read high.

BTW is octane 130 like you stated on d-series or is it 150 like you stated on here

a 150 octane mix on a d-serise makes no different

Re: finally methanol test on boosted motors 125+whp gain all over!!!
then you haven't played with dynos before
+12 whp gain on a Dynojet by effecting the correction factors due to sunlight onto the sensors
+8-10 whp on a Mustang dyno by changing the weight enter for the car
+6-15 whp on a Dynapak by altering the slew rate for the rpm rate
and all of those will read different if the pulls aren't done in the same gear for each pull.
So take your monkey bullshit mothball idea and swing from a short rope.
Now, I HAVE seen the gains NA with certain fuel mixing, but CH3NO2 isn't very forgiving.

What i'd really like to try is that meth+nos crap. They literally infuse the fuel with NO2. Even more power per CC, but you need a shitload more injector.
