for the compressor surge, try cutting off a coil from the bov spring, cut another coil til it stops compressor surging. you're bov is to hard to open.

I've been under the impression that a compressor housing with a higher a/r will ------ out the map, keeping you off the surgeline. I don't know if holset makes one for your application. If they do, I don't think it will clear your manifold or block.

Did you balance the turbo when you swapped on the compressor housing ?

If not, and its fine.

Im buying me a holset housing and wheel lol.

thanks for the rave everybody i want to clear up something about the holset hx40.
Its a hx40 and i removed the big exhaust housin and did some machining to a garrett .48 housin to let it fit.
my setup

jdm d15vtec
log manifold
holset hx40/w.48 turbine ported
turbonetics wastegate(10psi)
21/2 exhaust
act 4puck clutch and stock p/plate
greddyblue box for now
evo intercooler
