Default Finally boosted my mk3 8v x-flow

running stuff:

eip stage 2 turbo chip
440cc injectors
garrett t3 turbo internal gate
audi 5cyl manifold cut the 5th runner off and welded on a t3 flange
vr6 3" maf
hollow catylist( hollowed itself actually)
ebay bov
a4 smic turned tmic

i still have a bunch of stuff to install but its too ------- cold. i know i'll have issues with the maf and the ebay bov, i have a "greddy type" rs bov on the way to recirc. i also have to change the oil feed from the current high pressure fuel hose to a braided line.

this is my first hmt car and my first time welding project.

Cut a big hole in the hood to feed that tmic and make sure it doesn't look pretty.

I've heard those cars are slow as hell in stock form, but that looks potent 4 sure.

the last time i drove it i had the stock injectors, psi set to 4 psi, 2.5maf and the chip. thing fricken hauled ***. with the injectors, 3" vr6 maf and the chip i can go up to 11 psi, when i install the headspacer i can set it to 19 psi.

i can get you some pics of the manifold the next time i drive it.

i am cutting a hole for the hood and throwing on a scoop this weekend, then im painting the hood flat black.

dude, this was the absolute slowest car ive owned. i HATED this car when i bought it 2 years ago, now i love it.

i bought the eip chip used for $50, im going to be running 10 psi until i install the headspacer then i will be boosting 19 psi on stock rods and pistons.

yeah, im glad i have the crossflow head, vw knows how to make a potentially good engine really slow.

stuff i have left to install that has been piling up in my basement:

window regulators (all 4 of course)
install catch can
finish the exhaust
install the clutch
coil overs
recirc the bov with the ebay greddy rs
install new motor mounts
get a ss oil feel
replace the ghetto oil drain with my new drain
install new bumper cover and grille
new textured door moldings

i plan to have this bitch on the road april 15th at the latest.
