Wow that looks cool. I have a HMTT setup on my 89 notch on a 5.0. My other stang is a 97. The notch started out as a 4 and I swapped the 5.0 in there but I always think hmmm I wonder how a mod motor would be in there....You will get some nice power out of that combo for sure. I heard the 4.6 is actually lighter than the 5.0 (although it is bigger), does that seem true? Your setup makes me wish I had gone for the 4.6.

Ebay has 50mm HKS knockoffs that people have had success with.

I'll be curious to see how that 9cm hotside does on a motor that big. I know I found those specs and such... I'm trying to get one of the HEs for myself to try out... probably on a 1.6L single slam honda motor ;P

Keep us updated :)

does megasquirt have launch control? If it does, you'll be able to use that to build boost off the line and get a manly mans manual trans. ---- automatics!

I have to disagree about automatics being for girls if youve ever driven a high horsepower turbo car 700-900 rwhp car nothing can beat an auto leaving the line on a transbrake trust me auto's rock and cannot be beaten on high horsepower cars plus you will never keep a clutch in a high hp manual tranny car. having the same problem with a TT 02 Mustang GT that makes 751 to the wheels just too much power for the 5spd
