she was only lapping 2s slower than me when i tried her car. but of course all the guys watching said she was doing a better job... just because i understeered partly off on two of my 5 laps in her car. the slowest of those was = to her best.

skyline is mine
silvia girls little bro
levin girls car (faster than skyline, known as type r beater (wouldnt say that, but in my experience dead equal, lighter, less power))
mx5 german mates car

all of them had good brake pads, and decent tyres bar the silvia which had ordinary tyres.

and some videos of some donuts :-) my favourite pass time

levin doing a zero to 170odd dead stock :

LOL to several posts.

ozzy != nz. i think you'll find the import scene at least as vibrant in nz than oz because they cost literally half as much (no import duties on jappers in nz, but ozzy builds cars including your GTO, and needs to protect that)

ozzys dont live in the desert... they live around the edge... where its wet ... ish ... vaguely.

wesley! lol

i told them it wasnt anything much to look at. by far the best two pics there are the black top 4age, and the four of us in our stolen overalls :-)

thanks :-) yeah, i did put a lot of time and effort in. i'm a fan of do it once and do it right. having said that, my TODO list is about 50 items long at the moment and growing. its not really finished despite that fact that it runs, goes hard, and stops ok. for example, the brakes will catch on fire with that engine, and there are only front brakes at the moment (not too bad, but no hand brake too!). fitting up huge brakes is quite far up the list. not sure what to put on it yet. i'm thinking that i should go 5 studs for the choice of light wheels (i want to circuit race it) and also bigger choice in brake rotors. i might investigate the legality and costs of replacement bits for the ally hat style rotors. if its not tooooo bad, that would save a lot of dicking around looking for a suitable donor vehicle...
