too bad there are people running 12psi on d series talk to beerbongskickass

the sleeves arent the problem man its the ringlands...The advantage to the f is that you dont have to sleeve it to run forged pistons as you do frm sleeves... I ran 15-17 psi on a t3/o4e 57 trim for a year beaten every time i drove it.You can get a f22a6 (or the b1-2, I ran a b1) for 150-250, leaving cash for a new oem headgasket, arp studs (use the h23 ones), and have money left over for other ---- still... Of the SOHCs like it has been stated earlier in this thread, the Ax heads have better port geometry...ie better flow characterristics, and make great torque,---- youd still even have enough leftover for a clutch.. AND a cam......... SMART SPENDING, like i said you could do a gseries if you MUST have the DOHC option later, but you DONT need it.

My setup yeilded GREAT FUN numbers and surpruised the ---- out of people, NO ONE belived it was a single cam... I had to actualy show people to get them to believe me.

How much did you end up spending on your build? That thing sounds like it was pretty damn solid... I'm inspired now

My car had a 142000 miole f22b1 in it when i bought it
300 on a clutch
150 on some headstuds
60 on a OEM headgasket,
and like 2.5 Gs on the setup.... (Turbo, Manifold, DP, ECU, exhuast)

305 whp, 307 tq at 15 psi on the 57 trim t3/04e

BEATEN for 20k plus miles before i sold the setup, car still runs with the motor in it.

Hey Brian, when are you gonna pull that F and drop in the new H? I'm looking forward to grabbing those headstuds and the chopped front motor mount.
