I've checked with some folks on another board who have checked port alignment and have redrilled holes on for their F22a6. So, I have gone out and gotten a GEN1 exh manifold for my f22a6...haven't had a chance to personally check -cold to work in garage now)

As long as your middle ports on the F22 (LX?) are not the onces that are closer together...it should be fine.

I thought all F22A engine ports were configured like 0 00 0 I have read on other boards and talked to someone else who was going to custom turbo his F22A and he said that he's talked to other people that have the 1g manifold installed on their F22A.. with some holes redrilled.. I hate to repeat hearsay, but the DSM manifolds are the cheapest alternative compared to a custom fabricated manifold and would really like a definite answer from someone has installed or seen it first hand. And while we're at it... a 2g manifold also

91accordlx...

I'm afraid if your holes are 0 00 0, it will not work. I have a stock gen 1 dsm exh manifold at home, it is 0 0 0 0

The ex f22a6 header is in 0 0 0 0 format - as per my contact but I'm not sure about the F22a1, F22b etc.

-Zulued, how are the hole spacing on your f22block?

Hey guys, according to the pictures in the Hayes 90-93 Accord Repair manual, the F22A1 engine exhaust ports are set as 0 0 0 0, but looking at the picture in the Chilton 84-95 Accord/Prelude repair manual the ports are shown as 0 00 0, and the heatshield is shaped accordingly, looks like the Chilton manual is showing the exhaust manifold of the 84-89 Accord or at the very least a non F22A1.

To Jeff, or any other turbo guru... I got a problem... the T3 turbo I pulled has a rectangular manifold bolt pattern.. and I just found out today that the DSM manifolds have square bolt patterns. Are there any adapters/flanges to make those two fit? Or is my only option to get a custom fabricated manifold if I want to use this turbo? I really don't want to drop ~300 for a custom manifold

that is why I said "I would really be checking into the full dsm setup" use the 14b turbo, it is pretty good sized for your motor.

T3 flange rectangle
DSM flange circular.

Hi guys, In my pursuit to turbo my F22 Accord, I've pulled a turbocharger(TD05h), manifold, 450cc injectors and BOV off a 1st gen Eagle Talon with only 47k miles! Only bad part was that we got into this junkyard alittle late and had to rush at the end to get everything off.. and in our haste my friend broke the little plastic tips at the end of the injectors off 2 of the injectors I think they were called pintles. Anyone know if you can buy the pintles seperately and replace them yourself? or is my only option to send the injectors off for professional cleaning & refurbishing?
