Re:f22 with forge pistons = good or bad?
like i was telling eric.. u guys get tested every 2yrs right??
well ---- when it comes time to get tested put the stock cat back on.. once ur onde.. put the test pipe back on.. no big deal.. and yeh. the stock cat is a big restriction 10-15hp worth.. i think ive heard that somewhere.. |
Re:f22 with forge pistons = good or bad?
stock sleeves can hold 20+ pounds of boost easily, just as long as their is no detonation (pre) people have seen 500+ whp on gsr's with stock sleeves overbored to 81.5mm..

Re:f22 with forge pistons = good or bad?

Re:f22 with forge pistons = good or bad?
thanx abaz, i just want to make sure before i start to build up my f22b1 engine. my pistons and rods are order. cp pistons and i think eagle rods. can't wait to mass out my boost gauge. i'm happy with 9psi right now, imagine 20?

Re:f22 with forge pistons = good or bad?
lol be-careful.. dont need u slapping the rev limit all the time.. yeh its fun.. but make sure u keep it going.. shifting early always helps :P

Re:f22 with forge pistons = good or bad?
i notices my car start to like loose power when my vtec and boost max out at 9psi. is my staok ingition to weak ? do i need to upgraded to stronger ignition? i'm also running stock spark plugs.
