Re:Emptying a nitrous bottle...
I don't think it's safe to open it in a closet b/c it's mixed with sulfer to make you sick unless its medical grade n20 which i'm pretty sure they aren't putting in your bottles these days...
Anyone actually tried it?

Re:Emptying a nitrous bottle...
just put it in a cardboard box and make sure you wedge it with something like other smaller cardboard boxes. ship that sucker fuuullllll. Nothin will happen, and if it does,
I bet it won't happen again.lol But seriously, I'd ship it full. There's no way they can tell if it's full or not.
And they don't open boxes.

Re:Emptying a nitrous bottle...
dont ship it full! You take to many chances of getting a fine or hurting someone. You know good and well that shipping places dont care how they handle a box and id hate for someone to get in trouble because they blew up a ups man

Yes just open it and vent it in your back yard, ship it empty.
Nuff said, easy enough.

Re:Emptying a nitrous bottle...
I can name at least one reason why you should never ship a bottle full: SHIPPING COSTS!
And oh, don't fully empty a bottle. Drain it outside to the point where no liquid is coming out and the pressure inside it is like 5psi or something, just don't let it reach atmospheric pressure.
