I've had 3 different walbro pumps and everyone has worked flawlessly. I have also used stock fuel pressure regulators as well. Never needed to bump up the pressure at all.
I highly doubt you even have a problem with the pump, get a fuel pressure gauge and watch what happens when you boost, I bet it stays right where its suppose to. Also, you turned the afc hack to +5 ? Why would you do that? you do have 450cc injectors right? When you put the AFC settings in the postive this changes the entire map meaning the map is going to be hitting 3.0+ volts which maybe why you are having problems.

the afc was put to + when the tunner first tried tunning it and the car wouldn't run richer. the end result at the dyno was in the - side of the afc after vtec at 5500 rpm the lowest setting on the vafc is at -6, -40 before and in the -20s' to -30s' before and after. the car works good just like it is with the walboro 255 and the air/fuel gauge reads like it did when at the dyno. maybe the tunner wants me to go again just to make more money, this was 2 moths ago. i could get a good deal on the fuel pump, so ima end up getting it just to be on the safe side. you think my car will run pig rich with the supra fuel pump and need retunning? thanks for the responses, good to know others experiences with the same pump.
