Default Ebay d16 Cast Manifold - any good HP numbers?

Hey all,

Couple questions about the manifold listed below:

93-97 DEL SOL CIVIC CRX D15 D16 TURBO CAST MANIFOLD 94:eBay Motors (item 330348795622 end time Aug-29-09 179:53 PDT)

--Anyone using it and making good numbers?
--Anyone have a link to a build page or some dyno sheets to back it up?

Seems like it would be slightly restrictive but probably flow better than my current CX manifold. I thought I saw a post saying it was provin to 400hp.

I have a tunertoys DIY log manifold on-hand also. It has bigger runners than the CX but sharper bends and doesnt really direct the flow to the turbo all that well.

--What does everyone think of the TT manifold?

TIA

you could probaly use that but id suggest getting a turbo with a internal wastegate and getting a blockoff plate for the external waste gate site on the manifold....

I spoke with 2 people who used it for a couple years now. No boost creep or other problems due to the WG placement. They were actually really happy with it. Its an exact copy of the drag manifold from what I can tell.

Had mine for a year and had it retapped 4 times. Bolt threads don't seem to want to hold up. Get a tubular ss Mani for the same price and reinforce the welds. Done.

Good to know. Actually leaning toward a nice mini ram or mini log from go-autoworks or SLS at this point.

Actually thinking about some other kinds. The ramhorn is great but I hate the room it takes up. Still gonna look around.

---------------------------------------------------

This would work but I dont like the angle on the flange.

GO-AUTOWORKS Stainless Log Manifolds for Civic Integra B16 B18 D16 D15

This is a nice combo of fitment, quality, and flow.

Straight Line Specialties

This one is cool, I like where is points the WG. Turbo might sit too low I think.

Nice ramhorn. Not sure if this is still available since TT is done.

the wastegate placement does suck. it should still make good power. the main thing is that
1. its hold heat alot better then the stainless.
2. it being cast, it won't break under high stress like that ebay ssauto stuff and it can take the weight of a heavy turbo.

it would be a good option if your on a budget. but if you can spare some change go for a cast iron tubular manifold. you'll notice alooooooooot of high horse power bseries use cast iron tubular manifolds, topmount or not. heres one for dseries the pretty good PFAB Honda Civic Turbo Manifold T3/T4 D16, ZC SOHC:eBay Motors (item 170378297879 end time Sep-11-09 0883 PDT)
