i took it to a professional import dyno, and he did know what he was doing...but I have it leaned out as much as the afc will let me, and it's still too rich.

to tell u about my set up i run a safc with stock injectors a fuel pressure regulator and fuel rail on my d16. at first it was to rich i leaned it out and also took gas away from the fuel pressure regulator and now its running much better..ima take it to the dyno hopefully soon and video tape it for u guys..i think u guys heard of TITAN MOTOSPORTS there the closest dyno from me

set your lo settings to -46 accross and that should get you back to a stock 240cc equivalent...might want to even use -47 at 1k...this will allow your ecu to make corrections for afr which is what it'll try to do anyway in closed loop.

set your hi settings to -40 and make a wideband run and note the afr throughout the rev range. slowly lean it out going to a higher -#. when i was running the hack at 12psi i had my hi corrections all at -50.

it works like this because you are correcting the voltage that the map sensor is sending to the ecu and it shifts you accross your fuel maps in the ecu as well as your timing.

try that and that'll get you back on track. i would suggest using a btm w/ the hack.

i would suggest considering running uberdata...if he suggested hondata he should be able to figure out uberdata and you'll be good too.

from what I've been reading Uberdata is totally amazing, and the tuned results are sweet. I"m thinking about changing it to that and selling my afc so that it will be more tunealbe. My friend and I are possibly going to go in together and buy a portable wideband so we can tune are cars, so we don't have to pay $165 per hr at the dyno. The only problem is I NEED a car. I have to bum rides off my fiance and parents, and my parents are leaving town for a month next week, so that means I only have my fiance to bum off, and if she's working, that means out comes my mt. bike...yeah, lame I know! ::) so how hard is it to install uberdata and get it on the road? I'm planning on sending out my ecu to street_kings after I decide if this is the route I wanna take.

buy a spare p28 ecu send it to street_kings for chipping (see classifieds for details). and he'll even send u a base map I hear. swap ecu's and you should be able to drive your car! no down time.

I have the same fuel management as you do, only I gotta b16a. I was at 8psi doing 175hp before I got it tuned. Now I'm at 10psi at 234 hp. I was runnin super duper rich. Your solution is to turn up the boost to 10-11 psi. put just 1 check valve between your fpr and intake manifold incase your map sensor sees to much boost. But definately turn up the boost. By the way that tuner you went to is wack if he couldn't get you to turn up the boost. I can post my vafc settings if you want remember I have a b16 i don't know if it makes a difference.

You won't have to get a wideband. If I were in your shoes, I'd find someone on the site that is running uberdata with your similar setup. (someone has to be running it) Get their uberdata maps. The more tuning they've done, the better. But any "ok" basemap should get you up and running. Find that person, and do whatever it takes to make them want to help you. Money is usually a good "tradable".

Wow that sounds right on the money with my friends B16. He was running super rich and got 180 whp and when he got tuned he pulled out 230 whp. He has hondata though. same thing. same boost also.
