DSM + new injector seal kit question
I went over the Tech Project for the DSM injector install and I bought the seal kit from Napa. I don't see this seal (see picture) used for the project and I can't tell where it would go. The o-ring is obvious, as is the the small one on the far left. Since the jackass who sold these to me didn't include any bottom seals I don't know what is supposed to be there. Another question I have is why do I have to dremel out that green seal? It fits on the injector (tight), but it probably won't fit in the manifold if some isn't taken out I'm guessing. Thanks.
dremeling the seal that goes into the mani, sometimes they need it. Ive seen some guys just force them in. Try it and see. put the seals in first, and see if the injector goes in. if not, dremel it
you dremel the inside of the seal that way when you press them down into the manifold it has more room to give inward. its been done w/out that step and worked, just a bigger risk of tearing the seals i would guess.

I believe the black and green seal are both for the bottom of the injector, they are both the same inner and outter size but the one is shorter, it isn't needed but i believe I used them once, or saw them on an integra intake mani before
