Default DSM Injector seal

I've read the "DSM injector install" in the Tech section but I just have a couple questions. In one pic it shows the stock injector with a black seal on it and then in the other pic it shows the DSM injector but with a different green "taller" seal on it to get the same height in the manifold. Now does that green seal come in the seal kit from napa that is shown? Basicaly just want to know where to get that green taller seal shown on the DSM injector.

Thanks

yeah, it's in the seal kit, but you have to buy the whole kit, i think they're like 8 bucks for 1 injector

thats a rip just bore your stock ones unless you want to reuse your stock injectors again for some reason. at least its better than oem, i think its like 6 or 8 PER seal.

When you bored out the stockers where you able to remove them from the manifold easily without damage to seal. I wouldn't want to bore them with them still in the manifold bolted to the block right.

Take them out to do it. They won't rip. Just keep checking to make sure you haven't gone too far. Works like a charm.

in the kit you get a new black seal...don't use it, a green seal, new rail cushion, and rail seal. it's worth it to get the new seals. the green seal will put the pintile at the right height wheras the black one will put the pintile deeper into the manifold. also replacing the rail seal is a good idea since you don't know the integrity of the one that is on you injector now. no use and going through all that hassle and not replacing then having a fuel leak and having a good flame show.
