Default Down Pipe

Running A 14B On My D16Z6 With External Wastegate, So What Down Pipe Flange Do I Need Out Of These 2

Flange 1

this has to be a joke right. you can use either one but the one without the wastegate port would be better obviously. no wastegate on the turbo means you dont need a wastegate hole in the flange

i was just making sure because im new to turbo thing and a buddy was saying i still needed the opening and i didnt think i did so i was double checking

the second one is better. just remember to do something to the flapper so it doesnt open. welding it would be the best. if u have a leak @ the flapper u r going to get massive boost lag since the exhaust it by passing the turbine.
