i got a type s and it lets out a nice flutter pshhhh with the spring not tightened too tight... but if you want a cheap nice sounding bov i have tons of bosch/volvo bovs, they let out a nice psh

Well I'm still waiting for the new BOV I ordered off ebay to come in. Yesterday I got a little impatient and I wanted to have boost again

. I went to Home Depot and I found a copper pipe cap 3/4" which is realy 1" and I'm using that as a BOV piston along with a spring I had already. Only a slight air leak at idle comes from the BOV
but I'm able to build 10-11 psi and I'm enjoying my turbo once again.

Damn son, you're ghetto. Just take your *** to the junk yard or auto parts store and pick up a cheapo one. Probably better then that ebay ---- you keep buying.

The turbo xs rfl BOV imitation I ordered off ebay came in today and it's loud. It gives only one pshhhh and I'm very happy with it, I bought it a dozen roses and some bon bons

is it just me or there was some serious surging on that car?
I have HKS on my crx and it does not sound like that, just one solid whistle. I know bov sounds different on different car, but that sounds a bit like surging to me.
