I have that one. Works great. Had to put a lighter spring in it to work though. Gives of one loud PSSSSSSS. Turns heads! I'm glad I got it and not some expensive Blitz or HKS

 

where did you get the spring? how could I find out the size of the spring you have on it?

 

you can always take the spring out and cut a coil off of it. that will be just like getting a softer spring. 98ctr

Yeah I have an HKS and had to cut the spring to keep it open longer, but it's still not quite enough. I need to make a run to home Depot and see if they have any softer springs.

 

Actually I got the spring at a local tractor parts store. I just went in with my original and felt the different springs to find one softer. You can cut the spring but I wanted to keep the original one just in case. Home Depot might have some.

 

Well I fucked up on the BOV. I left the top on too loose trying to adjust it and the inside piston flew off onto the road somewhere while I was driving ended up ordering a different BOV = http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

Turbo XS makes some nice BOVs. I would have to comment that they are not worth it if you plan on boosting over 22 psi. They leak/flutter like crazy above that pressure. I switched back to my 1G dsm bov, covered the small hole on the bottom and cruched it just a hair. It holds nicely all the way up to 25 psi.

That rfl is really nice, especially if you want the "LOOK AT ME" woosh. No complaints in the attention getting department.

 

I've heard of the Really ------- Loud (rfl) bov. Does it let off a nice whoosh or is it more of that high pitched sound?? I talked to another member on aim last night who was telling me about an install of an HKS SSQ on a d16z6 and he said all it would let out is a ------- "tweet", running at like 6-10 psi. Said it was really annoying and not worth the $250 + 80 paid. Let me know man.
