Hey, what's up? Nothin' much here. Um... Do any of you guys know about turboing Saturn's? Um... I have a 1997 Saturn SC2. That's the DOHC one. I have the MP3 trany. (that's the 5spd trany) Not the compacted music file :P

 

think we have a few members that have boosted saturns.. I'll let them post and give you the details, I also think BoostedED9 does some work with saturns as well..

sc2's have a nice big space between the rad and the block for a turbo to sit. i'm sure more people have done it.
(i haven't ever owned a saturn though, just seen friends)

 

Since yours is a 97 I am pretty sure you have a returnless fuel system so you cant really use a FMU. You can either use an AIC or supposedly you can throw in some larger injectors and a 2 or 3 bar MAP sensor. Since you have a 5 speed use a T3 turbo with an exhaust A/R of .63. Get rid of that rather thick stock fan and throw in 2 10" thin line fans. I have some info on my site about my install...also have pics of the damage from my injectors failing, I ended up blowing the ringlands apart on 3 pistons, so make sure you handle the fuel system propperly.
