Default What do you guys think?

Well I now know how and what I need to build a turbo kit for my ZC CRX, but I want to know what you think. Should I get a DSM T-25 or a 1G (14b is it) and if I was to go with a 14b I would need a boost controller right.

if you went with either you would need to lower boost in one way or another. i would go w/ the 14b just because it has more potential later on down the line.

Well that depends on your expectations. If you will be running low boost (10 psi or less) the t25 is a faster spooling turbo that the 14b. But if you are planning going over 10 psi of boost sometime, I recommend the 14b as the first choice.

I recommend the 14b whether your going to go past 10psi or not. When I went from the tdo4 to the tdo5 (14b) my car didnt detonate at all anymore. I think this was because the tdo4 went out of it efficiency range range and was just blowing hot air in the engine. Either way you look at it the tdo5 is better. Sure the t25 boosts a little lower but the tdo5 is a much better turbo and will keep your temps down a little bit.
