ONE QUESTION: do you want a pre-fab kit, or an HMT style one..... can you weld? For a pre-fab kit, go to www.HahnRacecraft.com , they are 420A specialists.
BTW, 420As are Mopar four bangers, not DSM. an NA 95-99 shitbox (eclipse RS & GS) is as american as it gets. The first gen eclipse non-turbo actually used a mitsu 4G63, just not the 4G63T (with a 14B). Don't get me wrong though, I like DOHC Neons. 150 stock hp cant be bad.

I would definately prefer a pre-fab kit because of the fact that it would be easier. But financialy(sp?) if I am going to have a turbo any time soon it would have to be home made. No I can not weld but I have a couple connections so I dont think that would be too much problem. Now on the topic of the engine. Here's how I am translating what you guys are saying. The 2nd gen NT eclipse engine and the 95-99 neon engines are the same but they are not Mitsubishi, instead they are both Mopar. Is that correct?

H8TER - - I think we had this conversation once before.

you: A Neon is an ugly Girls car - Blah, BALh, blah!

Me: My Mom and 2 sisters drive a Civic. Blah Blah Blah!

And No the 420a is a chrysler Motor. The neon Motor is not called a 420a - the one that comes in the Eclipse, Avenger, Sebring, and Cirrus IS .

Mercedes has nothing to do with the SRT-4 - Chrysler made several mid to high 14 sec turbo cars over the last 20 years.

CSX Shadow

Omni GLHS

Dodge Spirit R/T

All Butt Ugly - all crappy cars - so What
