Re: DO you Really know a nissan turbo?
Dude, I already told you what turbo that is in the other thread you created.
It's a Garrett T3 .63/.60
Great turbo.

Re: DO you Really know a nissan turbo?
you guys have it right.
stage 1 turbine, 0.63 a/r
60 trim compressor, 0.60 a/r
Some are watercooled, some don't. That is not a problem.
Some have dynamic seal, some have static seal. That's more of a problem. I would always upgrade to dynamic seal.
This is IMO the best factory turbo to be used on HMT projects.
it's good for almost 300 HP and is easily upgradeable for 400 HP, just by slapping a T04 compressor on it.
as with ANY used turbo, it's a good economical way to turbocharge your car but they are OLD turbos. It's a good idea to have them profesionaly looked over prior to install. I'm sure you have a local turbo shop able to do that. but do some shopping, prices vary a lot...

Re: DO you Really know a nissan turbo?
good luck with your build and keep us updated.........
but for the love of god quit saying da and dat and all that other stupid ----. it takes just as much time to type da and dat then to tipe the and thatplus you look less like a douch. unless your doing it to try and sound "cool", which you dont. not trying to stir ---- but trust me, you'd get a lot quicker response and a lot more help with your questions.

Re: DO you Really know a nissan turbo?
Besides Chrysler turbos, those take the longest to pull from a car. The exhaust bolt pattern is retarded but you don't have to use any flanges on the compressor housing like the Ford T3s.
Good deal on that.
