so im guessing i need one, will an fmu with stock injectors handle 7lbs on my d15b2?

i dunno man, if i dont need a btm then i definetly dont want it but, maybe if i do need one i will consider, but the msd's on ebay are around 100 so i dont know yet. im still researching.

Well think about it this way, how much does it cost to rebuild the motor? How much does the BTM cost? The BTM may save you some rebuilds.

It all depends on how much money you want to spend. Obviously if you have the money you can buy more safeguards such as an MSD ignition. Personally I'm gonna get the MSD BTM but mainly for the built in rev limiter. I drive like a maniac and I know I'm gonna hit cut off more than a few times when I'm still getting used to being boosted so I consider the MSD an insurance policy for my motor. And since I"m getting it may as well spend another $100 for the BTM, so I can retard timing if I need to.

for 100 bucks you can send me your ecu and get it back with a rev limiter, boost retard, data logging capabilites, and a lot more
