Disco Potato on miata
I have an opportunity to buy a GT28RS for 250 dollars that has less than 500 miles on it. my question is will it be too big for me? I have a 1991 Miata I have been throwing stuff together foor the past year for. I plan on doing a log and meth injection with no Intercooler. I am running Megasquirt PnP. I will be rebuilding this year but I don't have the $$$ for forged internals... Is anyone familiar with power limits on a b6 motor? I am looking for between 200 and 250 HP. I want decnt spool and a solid power band for autox... gotta push these nitto NT01's next year. I did worse on them than my stock tires due to lack of power and a shitty clutch this year...

i think its a perfect match. i think the gt28rs will take a little longer than mine but its deffinetly going to be a good turbo for it. always better on the 1.8 though

koni sports, 500/325 springs. top hats of my design. poly bushings all around. 1.8 brakes with stock rotors and hp plus pads. this car is an e mod car since it has so much weight taken out. its about 1900 pounds right now since i still have yet to make the cage for it. my local e mod enemy is a 1600 pound rotary swapped spitfire that is a pretty consistant top 10 car. got about .3 seconds behind him that event. i need some better tires that arnt 7 years old and ill have him no problem.
