Did i hook it up rite
SO today after making some VId of my freinds and i i noticed my car had been leaking small amout of OIL So i check it and it seems that the Black box that the pcv goes to has oil on the top of it + now after being boosted for a month there hasnt been 1 drop of oil in my catch can so im not sure if i hooked it up correctly so heres what i did.
1. Remove pcv valve plugged the intake vacume sorce.
2. Routed the hose from the black box to the catch can via coolent hoze.
3. The hoze that connects from the block to the box was left intact since there is only 1 nipple on my catch can i didnt route in a vacume sorce.

I dont think so man. Its pretty simple. The part where you put the filter on the turbo... Put a fitting somewhere there. Run a line from that to your catch can and the other port on the catch can to your pcv

Re: Did i hook it up rite
It does. Just run the breather and the charcoal box to catch cans with no vacuum source. This is good enough usually. Fancy PCV setups just lower the effective octane of fuel and gunk up the turbo.

Re: Did i hook it up rite
I have seen setups where the valve cover vapors where recirculated to the catalytic converter. Some jobber cats even feature a straw expecially to do this. I was kind of worried it would not venturi enough and maybe blow exhaust gases into the valve cover but apprently not....
I never did it but I guess it's a good way to burn this vapor and smell without gunking up the turbo and IC piping or causing deto.

ROFL at all your speeling mistakes.
Good thing this is a car forum full of drunk and high misfits instead of one of those shitty sites that requires threads to have correct grammer and all that nonesense. I hope you get your car situation "rite" this time and don't hook up the "vacume" "hoze" wrong ahaha.
Keep up the good work!
