Default D16z6 Turbo Build, lots of pics!

Alright, I've been slaving for the last few months buying parts and gathering information, sorry for some of my stupid posts but i'm pretty much on my own on this beast.

My setup is,

D16z6
new Honda main bearings
new ACL rod bearings
Stock Sleeves
Delta Reground Camshaft
Vitara Pistons
Scat Rods
Blurr Mani
T3/TEO4E .70/.63, 57 trim
ARP Headstuds
milled head, .005
decked block .003 (I know not much but I wanted the least amount of material off as possible)
Xenocron's clutch special
Homemade DP, yada yada

Here are some pics,

Notched my block for the fatty rods,

A shot of the vitara's, I'm leaving the sleeves completely stock, I've read so many opinions on blockguards, filled block's, posting, so I'm leaving it stock for now, maybe do 1 of the three before any huge boost, does anyone know what the stock sleeves will handle unsupported?

Ching Chong "BLURR" Manifold, the welds look pretty shitty i'll brace the hell out of it and go over all the welds.

The motor ready to go in minus the camshaft which I'm still waiting on from delta, Polished the valvecover, took me prolly 4 hrs, 5 mins after I started I realized I had made a mistake, but it was already too late to stop, I would def. suggest not trying that its a bitch.

It will be swapped in tomorrow, driven for a few hundred miles N/A then boosted prolly next weekend or the weekend after. I do have 1 question, this is going into a 93 del sol, I will use a P28 ecu, I need to know how to wire the v-tec in, do I need a plug all the way from the ecu? any good writeups post em up please.

Any other suggestions would be great, I dont know how i'm going to break it in yet, yeah I've seen a coupple methods. I would eventually like to see a 400whp pull but thats not going to be for a few weeks yet.

Thats what I thought, they told me $90 on the phone the first time, then when they got it they were like, oh v-tec is $160, even though I told them what it was for, oh well, still cheaper than a new cam.

I beadblasted it first at school, it was nice for taking the paint off but it was a bitch getting out all the little dimples the beads left in the aluminum, first with 220 grit, then 1000, then went to town with the dremel and a polishing wheel. turned out really nice, the pictures dont do any justice it wasnt even polished yet in the 1st one.

You have to remember that it has alot more lobes being vtec, hence the price.

Hahahahaha, I love that about the VC: "took 4hrs, and realized it was a mistake after 5mins". Dude, I know exactly what you're talking about. My upper IC pipe is SS and thought it'd look good but then I realized I shoulda sprayed it blacked and thrown a TunerToys sticker on it. Haha, glad you finished though. Good luck with everything, I'm digging the build.
