http://www.nippon-motors.com
sells them for $650, but that seems to be a bit on the high side IMO. Check local salavage yards, or local race shops, just ask around because lots of guys in 5g civics always take those out to do B-series swaps.

I would check the most country-*** junk yard you could find, and talk them down to 400 with cash in hand. I would give them 500 if they left the flywheel, clutch, alternator, and power steering pump on the engine. Dont forget to barter for the ECU, but open it and make sure the electronics didnt get wet. You can save on a core charge if you ever start tuning with a laptop because you already have an ECU in the car and you will have little downtime. That's what it's all aboutittle downtime. That means more time to shave your neighbors' cats or something neat like that.

Try hitting up K. Watanabe corp.
http://www.kwcengine.com/
I dont know how much a D16Z6 was, but they quoted me 450 for a B16A 1st Gen.
But this is only if your in California. other than that it would cost to much to ship

---- that!
go to carparts. they have complete swaps for 800. ask sirex on this forum he knows he is looking to buy one for his rex.
they were giving him a complete swap outta 98 civic ex for 750.
thats motor, tranny, ecu, mounts, axlers, harness. of course he woudn't have needed that much but still.
u can use a obd 1 distributor to use that motor.
