Re: D15b-T newb (huge pics)
lol u asked me that earlier in the thread... neptune by evans as i have no tuning experience or a laptop, i can diag a rich condition on a stock car ... but i dont know where to start on a tuned ecu minus fuel pressure which should be the same at idle as b4 i would guess, im guessing voltage signals from the map are different, o2 sensor is probaly ignored, those are the biggest players in a speed density vehicle right. i think i gotta contact evans to try to figure this one out, can i still get that punch 4 not bein able to figure this out myself.

Oh right. I'm retarded then.
I need to quit drinking. If it's running rich have him take a look at it? Or upload the bin and let us see it. |
Re: D15b-T newb (huge pics)
So i found a boost leak with my BOV swapped out a new junkyard DSM BOV still a little leak around the weld for the flange but doesnt seem like it should be dropping from 9psi to 7psi. I decided to pull the Line to the wastegate and it still only sits at 9psi and doesnt rise any higher... its a rebuilt turbo but i guess its a wastegate problem then, one other question tho if my exhaust is restrictive as i have a high flow cat but its not a test pipe could that be causing the problem because i dont feel any power, it doesnt seem any quicker at 9psi that it did at 7 it actually feels slower to me?

Re: D15b-T newb (huge pics)
finally got her down to the shop again, and fukin hell remove my cat run open dp and there is my lost power... a 50 hp gain and put me better than b4 at 176/155 a lil less torqe this time but it was hot out. So i look in my "high flow" cat and its now a test pipe :o lol. Turn out my exhaust was clogged to ---- but i guess that is good news as it could have been worse. I really wanna get closer to 200 ponies but we will see, damn boost spike is keeping me from turnin the boost up anymore as i have a cut at 10psi so its holding about 8.5psi right now. But at least now i will probaly go to the track
