Cutting turbo housing

Default Cutting turbo housing

I'm trying to fit a k03s turbo on a Peugeot 1.4 8v, but the turbo housing of that turbo is a little too big for the install. I’m thinking of cutting this section of the turbo for it to fit properly. Here’s the picture:



What do you guy think? Should I cut it or should I get another turbo instead (I got this turbo for free so I would prefer using this one).

Ps. I tried to spin the housing but that didn't work.

you definatly can. what is that cylinder thing that your gonna cut off? Intigrated BOV?
